I have never enjoyed exercise for the sake of exercise. Never took an exercise class. Never wanted to. But a year after having Covid and having lived a year in isolation and little movement outside my one bedroom condo, and still dealing with many post covid symptoms, as well as mobility and balance issues that existed pre covid, my daughter recommended I take 1 on 1 sessions with Daniela. Right from our first meeting, I found Daniela very friendly and most importantly listened to my needs. She understood how important it was for me to work slowly and to set goals and do exercises that set me up for success. She has truly empowered me, encouraging me to take responsibility for my exercise program. Daniela has constantly modified exercises and gives me choices as to level of difficulty. Surprising to me, I have been the one asking to increase the amount of weekly time, expressing which exercises feel right , determining when I’m ready to do something a bit more strenuous. etc..
I began meeting with Daniela in early February, and I am a new person! I have more energy, am breathing easier and move with more ease. I can't believe it, but I now look forward to our sessions! Thanks Daniela!
